Here is the blog post from their blog:
"We are aware that some of you have been experiencing issues with streets that have offers attached to them. This is due to corrupt data which occurred when one of our databases went offline. We’ve tried fixing this without interrupting your game play, however to correct some inconsistencies we need to take the game offline for maintenance.
We expect the maintenance window to last between 4 – 8 hours from 8am, GMT Monday 26 October. During this maintenance window we will conduct a full review of the current data set to identify any inconsistencies.
There are 2 main inconsistencies we have identified with the current data set that we will resolve.
Firstly there are some streets that have been involved in the offer process that are currently in a state of 'limbo’. In this state you can see a street in your portfolio, you own it, but you cannot currently build on it. Once we have run our repairs you will be able to build again.
Secondly, some players own a street but it is not appearing in their property list, again due to lost data from database downtime.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to improve the game."
So let's hope they'll fix the bugs.

responding.
I am hoping that anyone here can help. I was excited to buy Monopoly for the
PS3, but unfortunatly this has been one of the worst experiences with any
HASBRO/EA product. This game is full of bugs that have made it impossible
to play.
When playing the game, characters suddenly run in cirles and into walls.
Often the game hangs. Properties randomly switshing hands and or going back
up for sale when you already owned it. When I buy a new city, it is gone
next time I open the game. Rankings dropping from number one in the world
to like 1500 after winning a game. It really goes on and on.
Anyone at Hasbro can verify this information by doing simple searches on the
internet. Be sure to also search Youtube and the EA forums. Now I can not
even connect to play online, and I when I google this issue, I learn that
hundreds of other is having the same problem. This has been going on for
months. Just search for "EA servers not available PS3 Monoploy" on Google. I
hope that none of this is news to Hasbro and that the next time a license
deal is up with EA that you do not allow your good name or iconic games to
be worked on by EA. It is a joke. Customer service has been non existant. I
was even told in a recent chat that they do not support games like Monopoly
as they only support real life games like Battlefied.
I would appreciate a new version of Monopoloy for the PS3 from a software
company that will support the game. It really is a shame as Monopoly Streets
in some way could be outstanding. If only Hasbro and Ea would correct the
issues and stand by the product. Before Hasbro and EA takes fixes this
issue, I will never buy another Hasbro/EA product again. But I will keep on
writing about my frustrations at relevant online forums.
